Mas Candi Corpinnat (ex-Cava) 2020

Mas Candi is one of 9 wineries that has chosen to rename its methode sparkling wine as 'Corpinnat'.  The signatories to this name have agreed to uphold very high standards of viti- and viniculture, use only indigenous varieties, harvest grapes by hand and be as environmentally friendly as possible.

A blend of Xarel.lo (60%), Macabeo (20%), Parellada (5%) and 15% of other indigenous Penedes grape varieties.  

This classic Spanish sparkling wine from the Penedes region has been produced using the classic "methode champanoise".  It has had at least two years on yeast lees.

11.5% alcohol

Visually: Pale yellow color. Fine and persistent bubbles.

Nose: It has notes of ripe, fresh, with a predominance of lees and herbs.

Taste: The same as above with nuances of nuts and excellent citrus acidity.
