Product Notes
100% Albarino from Rias Baixas
Intense concentrated aromas of stone fruits with floral notes. On the palate, this wine makes a great first impression - fresh and mineral with long persistence of flavour and full of character.
While this winery is not certified organic, they never use herbicides or systemic fungicides.
"I tasted a very young but surprisingly harmonious and approachable 2021 Turonia, the pure Albariño from Quinta Couselo in the Rosal subzone of Rías Baixas, a part that has less influence from the sea, as it's sheltered by a mountain range. The wine has less sea breeze character and more freshly cut grass aromas and river stones, going more toward the character of Ribeiro, clean and varietal. The palate is harmonious and seamless, with very good acidity and focused flavors with a pleasant bitter twist in the finish. Really very good." 91 points (2019 vintage), Luis Gutiérrez, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
