100% Tannat only produced in exceptional years.
Location of vineyard: Santos Lugares - Canelones
Hand harvested and berry selection. Pre-fermentation maceration at 10C for 4 days. Alcoholic fermentation at 25C for 20 days. Malolactic fermentation took 10 days.
Aged in American oak barrels for 12 months.
Food suggestions: red meats, strong cheeses and chocolate.
This wine has great cellaring potential.
